The switchboard secretary is rude and not helpful. I called late on a Friday with a pregnancy scare and the she refused to transfer me to a nurse or on call Dr. She acted like I was a bother and said the office was closing soon and the nurses werent available. I explained this was my first pregnancy and I was worried. She told me to tell her what it was (although she isn't a nurse). I told her and she put me on hold for 30 seconds and told me she talked to a nurse and to get to the ER to get checked. I asked to speak with the nurse she "talked" to or a Dr and she refused saying she had "no way to transfer my call" and that there were Drs at the ER. I went to the ER and was told to follow up with my Dr on Monday. Monday I called and explained my situation about being seen at the ER and needing to schedule a follow up to the switchboard secretary. She once again was rude and let out a deep sigh before transferring me to a voicemail. No sense of compassion or urgency. At all.
