Provided by YP.comJodi and her employees are the kindest people you could ever have to love your pets while your away. I have trusted Broadway Kennel with my dogs and cats for over 16 years. Will do so for another 16 and probably more. Thank you Jodi.

Provided by YP.comWe have used Broadway Kennels for at least 10 years. At the beginning, we had two small dachshunds that we wanted to be together. We also wanted their own cages in the kennel (without the doors) so they would feel more comfortable. The staff has always accommodated our requests! Although its not a big fancy place, it is a friendly staff who loves my dog. We now only have one dachshund, who is fifteen years old. He doesnt get nervous at all when we take him. He gets special tender loving care and we appreciate it so much!

Provided by YP.comThe first time we used them, I had to drag my dogs in, the next time, my dogs were so excited they dragged me in. They love coming and I know they are well taken care of.

Provided by YP.comWe took our dog to Broadway Kennel to be boarded overnight. My husband was quoted a price of $18. When we arrived to pick up our dog, they said the price was $36. What?? When I questioned the cost, I was told that the $18 was a "per date" price. Since he was there overnight that was considered two "dates". I asked why they didn't clarify this when we dropped the dog off since we were new customers. She said she was too busy, but apparently not too busy to take my money. She also told me that I should have known why they were so cheap. Since I have only boarded my dog one other time and it was at a kennel in New York for $14 per night, I didn't consider it cheap at all. The owner was very rude!! My advice would be go to a kennel where they are forthcoming with all information. It is hard to say what else they are "too busy" to tell you!!
Wow, in the small business world it is so difficult to make everyone happy. I remember this exact discussion with the writer of this review. We work very, very hard at Broadway Kennels to provide wonderful services to our guests and the owners of our guests. I was not rude to this client, nor am I rude to anyone, ever. It makes me sad to know that this is the perception that she received from me when she came to pick up her dog. My sister answers all the calls for the kennel and during "busy" holiday seasons there can be anywhere from 70-150 calls per day. It gets quite confusing and overwhelming at times. When questions are asked about our facility, we do our best to relay the information exactly with each client, but sometimes things do not get repeated the same each time. Yes, our rate is $18 per date. A date, is a calendar DATE. Whatever date your dog is present at our kennel is a date. It is not a 24 hour period, nor is it an overnight charge. This has been the case since the kennel opened over 15 years ago. The reason for this, like many other kennels in the Ohio area is that most of the work and handling of the dogs occurs during the DAY. It is not at all like a hotel room like we humans occupy. We pay a per night fee because that is when we are there. We normally are out of the room throughout the day. The room just sits there. At a dog kennel like ours, all activities, cleaning, handling and so forth happens during the day. Many kennels in the area offer rates at close to $30-$40 per night. We offer $18 per date, always have and always will. We have a database of clients of over 4000 dogs. We love every single dog that comes to us. I am sorry that we cannot make every single person happy, but we try.
