MY BUDDY AND I BOTH BOUGHT CUSTOM MADE MOTORCYCLE JACKETS IN 1971 AND I BELIEVE HE STILL HAS HIS, I SOLD MINE TO AN AQUAINTENCE , BIT IT WAS IN FABULOUS CONDITION ,I HAD RIDDEN IN RAIN AND SNOW FROM COST TO COAT AND CANADA TO MEXIICO WITHOUR RAINGEAR , THE JACKET KEPT ME WARM AND SAFE ,AFTER A COUPLE OF FALLS NO SERIOUS INJURY TO ME OR THE JACKET, THESE JACKETS ARE THE VERY BEST MADE ! Christmas 1969 I received a leather motorcycle jacket and pants, custom made for me by Passaic Leathers. Beautiful black leather with red silk lining, and a zip out winter liner. During the next four years I never missed a day riding my motorcycle in Colorado. Temperatures varied from 100 degrees in the summer to minus 28 degrees in the winter. I suffered one high speed crash. Those leathers were my salvation through temperature extremes and sliding down a busy interstate highway (blown tire) at 60 mph. I still have and wear those leathers through 44 years of motorcycle riding across most of the United States. I had to replace the zipper once (it's due for another replacement). I love these leathers and they were certainly worth the investment. I wish I knew who sewed them so I can thank them for a lifetime of service. Rick O, Franktown, Colorado
