The material can also repair concrete, steel, asbestos, vinyl and fiberglass pipes. The Armor Plate Pipe Wrap system can be installed on straight pipes, elbows, tees, underwater, flange reducers and on saddle repairs for crevice corrosion. Most repairs can be completed in less than one hour. On a large installation, repairing a 36-inch diameter pipe, the company has installed more than 2,600-square feet of material in one day. The product is versatile and can be applied on different pipe configurations, underwater, below-freezing temperature environments and pipelines operating at high temperatures.
