I don't understand the hype about this place. The wait line is usually around 45 mins to 1 hour and the restaurant is crowded. It is really hard to walk in between the tables because there was no space. Each person sits on top of another person.
My assumption was since so many people go there, food must be good.
I ordered tortelli which were $24, and they were good, but there was almost no filling inside, so it was mostly dough (which was slightly on the under cooked side). there were 7 of them on the plate and they were tiny. Needless to say, I still was starving after the meal. Balsamic reduction on them was good. My friend ordered Fish which was $36, but was dry and overcooked. Fish was seasoned really well on top, but inside it was super dry and flavorless. Size of the fish was 1 inch by 0.5 of the inch which is ridiculous. I feed my cats more fish than what I was served. Also food came out at different time, fish came out first, and only 10 mins later pasta arrived. The dessert was the only descent human size meal! Olive oil cake was ok, nothing special was about it, and since we were starving after eating the main course, we ate the cake really fast. Our bartender was really snobby, unfriendly, and never even asked if we needed anything, wanted refills when our glasses were empty, or even how everything was tasting. He was standing there ignoring us.
Needless to say we left the restaurant still hungry, unsatisfied and $100 short in our bank accounts.
My advice-don't go there, there is nothing special about the place except overpriced tiny portions.
