Quaint locale for afternoon tea. I'd recommend it for small groups celebrating a shower or birthday. Decor-wise, it's heavy on lace and doilies. Definitely more geared toward the ladies.

Best place for a traditional British tea in Los Angeles. Edmund and Mary do a wonderful job of making you feel at home. The setting is beautiful and the rest of the staff are always friendly and attentive. The tea is fragrant with notes of bergamot, the sandwiches and Yorkshire pudding are wonderfully savory and the whole experience makes me feel like I'm in a Miss Marple mystery. The scones are the show-stoppers: warm, buttery and flakey. Basically heaven on a plate. Slathering copious amounts of Devnonshire cream is a must.
