This McDonald's is the closest to my home, and though we don't go often (maybe once every 3 weeks or so), pretty much every time we do, the food is mostly decent, and by decent I mean fresh. It's McDonalds, so I don't expect a five-star meal.



I do however appreciate 5-star service, and sometimes the folks who work the drive through are absolutely rude. Once, AFTER being asked for my order at the drive-thru, I was then brusquely told to "Wait a minute!" Apparently the cashier was having issues with the order system/register and the order wasn't going through.



On another visit, I ordered a Sprite but was given a Diet Coke at the pick up window. I told the server I was allergic to cola (not joking at all) and instead of giving me the Sprite in a fresh cup, she poured out the Diet Coke and filled it with Sprite. She was so annoyed with me that she pretty much shoved the drink into my hands.



On both occasions listed above, the server in question was a teenager, and likely they hadn't yet learned not to give customers "lip" or attitude, even when frustrated. On the flip side, I've encountered some very professional young people here, and had no problem at all.



It's convenient, mostly cheap, and sometimes works in a pinch - or when you just HAVE to have McDonalds' fries. I guess you get what you pay for:)
