I love the guys at Island Tires! They are honest and reliable and only do the work that is necessary. Their prices are always fair. I highly recommend them, especially if you are a woman and are not an auto expert. I have been going to them for years and they have always done a great job and explained everything completely. Unlike the chain repair and oil change shops, they have never added any useless moneymaking "services" that are costly and unnecessary. They always let me know what I will need next and in how many miles I should return for service. It is true, they have had the same staff ever since I started going there. That alone says a lot!

I have been a Pasadena area resident for 30 years, and I've tried many "good" shops in town. For many years now, I take all 4 of my vehicles (my own, wife's, daughter's, and my son's) and I have never been let down by these folks. The service is exceptional, and they absolutely won't quibble if I think they need to re-check something on the cars. I've also noticed that they seem to have little to no staff turnover, which tells me they also know how to treat their own people well. And happy employees do their work with care, because they too want me to come back for all of my auto repair needs as well as for new tires. I guess I just can't say enough good things about these folks... check them out for yourself, and see if your own perception of auto mechanics doesn't change for the better!
