The Perfect Lawn recently installed a complete backyard landscape in my recently constructed home. I collected several estimates over the past few months and found The Perfect Lawns pricing to be competitive. I worked with Mike, the sales rep to develop a plan and agree on a price based on a very detailed drawing my fiancée created. My HOA accepted the plan without change as we were very careful to review and understand their requirements first. Mike advised me that Paul, the owner, would remain on site throughout the entire job. I requested a meeting with Paul before start of work so that I could convey all my thoughts and concerns. This was a very good meeting and I recommend this step so there is a clear understanding on both sides of things that may not necessarily be conveyed by the plan. Paul indicated the job would take a week, which truthfully I felt was optimistic.

Paul and his team of landscapers arrived at 7 am each day. On day one (Tuesday), builder’s spec steps were demolished and forms for a patio were set. On day two (Wednesday), the stained and stamped patio was poured and covered and trenches were started for the irrigation system. Paul alerted me that with the forecast snow, his team would not be working for the rest of the week because it would be too muddy. The team showed again at 7 am Monday morning (day three), where they installed the sprinkler system, planted two 6 foot evergreens, cut the diamond pattern in the patio and sealed it, and laid forms defining the grass / mulch / dry creek / sitting area and surrounding river rock areas. On day four, they laid approximately 28 tons of rock and several cubic yards of mulch, amended the soil for the turf areas. On day five (Wednesday) they laid the turf, adjusted sprinklers and detailed all their work. Job done in five days.

Each day the team would clean up after themselves and not one bit of trash was left behind. Worth mentioning, I was very impressed with how Paul did stay on site and was explaining how to do certain things “the right way” to his newer crew members. I was also impressed by how courteous and helpful the team was to me, and even more so by how well they treated each other. I saw them joking around, I heard them saying please and thank you to each other – honestly I never expected that and have never witnessed it before.

I highly recommend The Perfect Lawn to anyone.
