Advocate Charitable Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Advocate Health Care, a not-for-profit organization of physicians and health care professionals dedicated to serving the health needs of individuals, families and communities in northern Illinois. The foundation's mission is to build relationships and partnerships that will inspire charitable giving by individuals, foundations, corporations and organizations. These donations help to support the mission of Advocate Health Care to improve the health status of the communities it serves. Advocate Charitable Foundation's philanthropic program focuses on attracting national, regional and local support for patient care, education, research and community-based health services across Advocate's more than 260 sites of care.
