Whoever reviewed this must be related to the owners. This place is terrible. There was nothing on the bar except for 4 hour old french toast and eggs. Price does not match quality $17 for a meal not worthy of a spot on the McDonald's dollar menu.

I really enjoy coming here my husband and I come here all the time. We feel comfortable coming here.

We had the dinner buffet and everything was high quality. Loved the chicken and the bakery was excellent. We will definitely be going back.

The food is delicious. The people who work here are always kind, considerate, friendly, making me feel like they know you. This was my husbands favorite place to eat before he went home to the heavenly home. It comforts me to be here with my memories.

Haven't eaten at this restaurant for a while, but my mom LOVES coconut cake and I remember Hometown has a lovely presentation of their baked goods. On a whim I called and ordered one-half of a coconut cake and one-half of a dark chocolate with peanut butter frosting cake (my mom's two faves). Mom is picky about her cakes but she absolutely LOVED both of them (as did the rest of us at her party). They were perfect! The coconut cake was white cake and it was light, airy, with a whipped frosting and coconut -- it was heavenly. The chocolate cake was super dark (Black Joe) cake with peanut butter frosting -- super delish! I'll definitely use the bakery again and look forrward to eating a meal there soon! My only complaint was that the girl at the check out was not friendly and frankly not nice at all.

Five days a week customer-Staff is always friendly and courteous food is like home cooking

We always come in on a Friday night for an evening meal, we always get Suzanne and never had a bad experience and we can't not let Doug, out as he is a good gentleman

It is a very pretty restaurant with booths and tables. The decor is very nice. Food is very good. Many Pennsylvania Dutch dishes. Nice atmosphere.

We went for lunch and theire menu is very good and choices, well it's a lots. The tuna salad was very good. Very nice place to eat.

Once I got past all the flower wallpaper I enjoyed the friendly staff and great food for a good price.

Large portions for small prices. What else would you expect in Central PA. OK place to eat...... nothing special but very filling.

Not bad for a local restaurant that is like a diner. Service is good, food is acceptable.
