Memories General Store has been a brick & mortar business since May 2007, that is a family owned & operated business ran by me, Cody Cookston, and my mother Lavona Reeves Cookston Parson and my step-dad, Steve Parson, however, it could be said that it actually started about 30 years ago when I was born.  I was born out in the country in the mountains of Tennessee and I was surrounded by old stuff and the old ways of living.  When I was 15, I began going to yard sales to buy to resell.  I had cleaned out my grandparent's house after my grandmother died and had found out that her junk was actually treasures...including her pieces of McCoy pottery!!! I learned quick...started selling online...and basically did this all thru my high school years.  It's been a long road but a fun one with many turns, dips, and surprises along the way.  I hope you enjoy all of our stuff...cause we love it but we love it even better when you love it and buy it!!! LOL...thanks for visiting and God Bless Ya'll!!! :)
