I attended this school in order to "start a new career". I wanted and needed something that was convenient, affordable and most of all quality. My experience in attending the Los Angeles Training Institute for Alcohol and Drug Counseling was perfect. The instructor was AMAZING and they make it so easy to work "hand-in-glove" with the certifying agency. In less than a year I have a brand new career that is rewarding both financially and on a deeper level. If anyone is considering a location to get education on becoming a Substance Abuse Counselor - I recommend this facility hands down. It is affordable, challenging, and most of all thorough.

I attended LA Training Institute from April of 2018 to March 2019. The experience is immeasurable. The information I learned I can take any where in the world with me. I am super excited to now sit for certification, which I can also use anywhere in the world. The instructors knew their information and was able to make it easy to understand and retain. The new relationships and networking that I have been afforded is definitely a blessing. I would definitely recommend someone to attend this school if they want to change their career path, learn in an amazing environment, to pay an affordable amount to invest in themselves, and it's convenient to attend every other weekend.

I attended this school from 3/2018-2/2019. This school's strong points are it's curriculum, it's location, the cost, the staff, the pace, and it's connections. Regardless of if you're new to the field or have a long career under your belt, you will learn something. The teachers each have a different style, each have something unique to contribute to the program. I appreciated the speed at which I was able to complete the program, because it will allow me to get into the field faster. The cost is definitely an investment, but it is cheaper than other programs especially when you factor in gas and wear and tear on your vehicle. If you pay attention, remain polite and considerate, and put your best foot forward you can make connections with other professionals in the field and network--sometimes it's not what you know but who you know who gets you in the door. The weak points are the size of the school--right now it's very small, but the demand for seats is high, so that can be kind of stressful.

I attended this school at the Palmdale location from 03/2017 to 02/2018 and I just wanted to say thank you to the wonderful staff and peers who helped me to graduate from this program. The classes and teachers not only gave me the necessary foundation to enter this new field successfully, but they also provided inspiration and links to vocational opportunities within the community. I really appreciate their dedication to helping their students launch a path to a great career helping others improve their lives.

I have had a really good experience with this business. The Los Angeles Training Institute For Alcohol & Drug Training provided me with the tools that i need to be successful as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Because of the training i received from their experienced staff, I was able to get a job with Amity Foundation and am currently working in their prison project. The information and instruction i received about duel diagnosis, case management, special populations and theories has helped me tremendously. i attended The L.A. Institute for Drug and Alcohol Studies from October 2017 to July 2018. It was a great experience that I'll remember for a long time to come. The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable and fun to learn from. However, for me it was my fellow students that really made coming to class worthwhile. There were a lot of different, diverse personalities and characters all coming together for one purpose; to be counselors. Special kudos to Jessica, the administrator, without whose dogged determination to keep us all on track, is often overlooked, but was crucial to successfully completing the program. If you're looking to be SUD counselor, you can't do much better than L.A. Institute.

I attended Los Angeles Training Institute For Alcohol & Drug Counseling in 2014 and since then I've worked in the field and I love it! This school has well educated facilitators that work in the field, as well and I have been able to grow mentally and spiritually since attending this school considering I am also in the field. I recommend it and Letitia is great!

I attended and completed this program and loved it! I learned so much and the staff was amazing and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this program to everyone.

This is thee most amazing program. The customer service is outstanding
however, the learning process is awesome, complete and very easy to understand. The instructors are personable and teach in a way that is easy, non-demeaning, and help you to understand all aspects of the drug and alcohol field. L.A. Training Institute for Alcohol has been an excellent school for me to get my Certification. The school has been very informative in giving me the knowledge that I need to do the job and has brought employers into the school, who are looking to hire students. I was able to start working 2 months after beginning classes. Their 11 month program moves quickly and I have enjoyed the interaction of the small class size. I have learned a lot and am enjoying my new career as an AOD Counselor!

I think the school has a lot of information to offer. Also, I give a thumbs up to the Director for the job resources.

I'm overjoyed to be able to attend this school it has enhanced my knowledge, about The counseling field, the facility is very comfortable to be at, the staff is knowledgeable, they offer great references to get you working, great job referrals, and the instructors are the Bomb. I'm so happy that i made the decision to enroll into this school my Graduation Day is July 14 2018 and i am so excited and looking forward to take what i have learned here into my new Career, attending this school has made me a better person with a greater purpose,

I really enjoy attending the Los Angeles training institute the teachers are very informative on the information that they give to you an i have learned a lot coming form a diffrent profession i would recommend any one that wants to change there profession to give help to others who are having substance abuse problems to take these courses an become certified

Leticia the director is here and present and on top of things and she's always trying to get job opportunities for us her students. I would recommend this school for anyone. Los Angeles Training Inst. is a great place to get an understanding of Alcohol

As a reason graduate class of 2017. I can honestly say the program was very informative the instructors were very skilled with distribution provided the program itself has been quite an experience and without of a knowledge I am pleased to have choosen this profession and very excited to become an Addiction Drug Counselor and would recommended the program to all that are interested !!

I came to this school with the hope of becoming an alcohol and drug counselor. I am half way through the program and have already gotten a full-time job as a counselor in a treatment facility. I was pleased to discover in my first week of work that everything I was learning in school was being put to use in this field. The instructors Nucion and John are very knowledgeable and are always able to answer questions and help. Leticia, the director, is always bringing in potential employers and job postings to help everyone jump start their careers. I feel like the staff wants to see all of the students succeed.

I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to become an alcohol and drug counselor.
