Provided by SuperpagesCVS keeps changing the supplier for my Alendronate (ref Osteoperosis - the Fosamax generic.) The boxes keep getting bigger with more empty space! I've been told the "distributor" determines what manufacturer is used. Today I got my 90-day supply of three (3) BOTTLES. Each bottle is about 3 inches high and 1 inch in diameter. Each contains a mere four (4) small tablets !!!! If you're trying to save the environment, this will give you nightmares. WHAT A TOTAL WASTE ... insane packaging ... Mylan is the manufacturer. The bottle is, of course, about 97% empty. I've gotten my meds at this location for almopst 15 years. CVS continues to support this packaging waste, and I am thus no longer willing to support CVS. Time to switch my prescription .. Will look at Walgreen/Publix/Target pharmacies.
