In Spanish "Cazuela" means earthenware cooking pot, stewpot or casserole. When the Original Las Casuelas opened in 1958, their marketing company misspelled the name as "Las Casuelas." Money was tight in those early days, so Florencio and Maria Delgado adopted this spelling as the name of their restaurant. It quickly became proprietary and synonymous with excellence and tradition. The recipient of numerous awards for food, service and architecture, Las Casuelas Terraza is a favorite of locals who consistently vote it Palm Springs' "Most Popular Restaurant." Terraza's two leafy patios, live music, delicious food and fresh drinks, make it ideal for a romantic date, a festive lunch or fun family night out.In Spanish "Cazuela" means earthenware cooking pot, stewpot or casserole. Best margaritas and chips in salsa in Palm Springs! We like to sit on the patio and then walk around downtown when we are finished.

Still Great

Get their early on a weekend or you will have a long wait. This place is one that you compare others to. Been eating there for years, always good, always the same. Very cold beer, great Margaritas.

We go here often. The food could be called Microwave Mexican. You know pull off the clear wrapper heat and serve. What it is worth going for are the two bands that play 7 days a week, Every nightand Sat. & Sun afternoon and night. These guys are really good. They have been there a long time and have quite a following. Rock & Roll, Blues they can play it all. Check out the guitar playing of Tony Dean on Sat. & Sun. afternoons. In the evenings you have Rick and Mark on guitar and these guys can lite it up the bass player Mark is a very good singer and the people love him. . Both bands have great drummers on Sat & Sun afternoon Alan on drums has a great singing voice and is especially wonderful on latin tunes. The Sat & Sunday afternoon band has Gil Hansen on bass and this guy can sing and play the blues. He could have his own show if it were a blues club. Anyway the booze is good with great waitress staff food is fair, THE MUSIC IS GREAT.
