Old reviews of the restaurant do not reflect the current operation. After 25 years away, Billy reed is back with his ability to manage a top notch operation. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food is very good and you have to see the deserts to appreciate them. We stayed away for years but we and our friends enjoy Billy Reeds regularly.

Billy Reed's smells musty and feels as if the place hadn't had a cleaning in years. I've been there twice within a four-month period. The second time, I went to the bar to get a couple of little cocktail straws and they were sticky as if they'd been used. I'm not saying they were used but they were definitely sticky with something.



The food was ok, nothing special but I just couldn't help feeling as if the place needed to be closed for a week of professional scrubbing from top to bottom.
