Provided by YP.comI'd say: no way waste your money at Al Dente in PS.
On Sat. April 20 I ate at Al Dente Palm Springs with my wife and 3 friends. Was expecting a great meal but was fooled. About the only positive complement was for the ravioli.
I ordered what I though would be a great meal, Viel marsala--$22.
What I got was 3 coldcut size and thickness pieces of veal with a little marsala gravy.
It was to have come with veg. and potato. I asked if I could have past instead of potato. The waiter said no problem, but he didn't bother to tell me the menu states there is a charge for subsitutuions. Then he goes on to tell me he will give me the veg. in a side dish, again no discussion about charge. So I was to get potato and veg. with the meal ($22) but was charged OVER $3 for the pasta and $2.75 for a veg that I was to get free with the meal. When I asked the waiter about the charges, all I got was a cold look and a sorry, no adjustment. So I got 3 coldcut size pieces of viel, some spinish (that I didn't choose) and a few mouthfulls of pasta, all for almost $30. That's a rip off! I cook and I could cook a better viel marsela with my eyes closed.
I must say, the other helpers were very good keeping the bread coming and the water glasses full. I wouldn't recomend this place for price, taste or quantity. I'm form NJ and I know good Italian food---and this ant it! Save your money and open a can of food at home, will be cheaper and taste better.
The others except for the raviloi order weren't happy either.

Provided by YP.comGreat reataurant, but very limited. The menu is extremely simple, only the most popular italian fare, fettucine, spaghetti, vermicelli and linguine, and only the most popular sauces, pesto, primavera, putanesca, clam and bolognesa. If you are looking for something different like tagliatelle, gnocchi, mannicotti, cannelloni, agnolotti go to other italian restaurant. The bread is horrible.
Even after my dissapointment for the limited menu, what is offered is first class, very well prepared, the pasta is really "al dente" at the exact right point. If you are looking for a very good italian dinner without being too "exotic", this is the perfect place, but if you are looking for something different, go someplace different.
The dessert list is also somewhat limited, but you can find italian birra
Exectional value without being extravagant in price.
At any rate, it is well worth your money and syrelyyou will enjoy a fine meal.
