I have been coming here for several years now and Amarit has never let me down. The food is always extremely good and fresh and the staff is always happy to see you and and very polite. I have recommended this resturant many times to friends and family and they have always loved it as much as I have. Amarit also has a very reasonable lunch specials as well if you can't get there for dinner!

The Panang Curry and Pad Thai are really excellent! Among the best Thai restaurants in Tampa Bay.

We live in Largo where there are several mediocre Thai restaurants. Several times a month we make the trip up to Amarit for their excellent Thai food. The food, atmosphere, and great service just can't be beat. The restaurant is really elegant and very different from all the other restaurants we've tried. One of the waitresses told us that the wallpaper was brought in from Thailand and is patterned after some royal temples. What impressed us about the food was that everything tasted so authentic. My husband worked in Thailand for a year and knows what real Thai food is like and this is as real as it gets in this area. Their tom kar (coconut chicken soup) is wonderfully creamy and tart and the curries are the best we've had since moving here from San Francisco. The best part about it is that their prices are a bargain for the quality of the food and the lovely atmosphere. Amarit is definitely this family's favorite!

There are probably 6 other Thai restaurants in the Palm harbor area and we have tried them all. Amarit offers a great menu with the most consistent quality and friendly service. Whether you eat in or take out so will not be disappointed.
