I think I am calm enough to write this. I am not a perfect human being and yesterday was a very bad day, Started out great, had an 11 am appointment (1 st visit) with Dr Gomez. I must tell you !) I am very new to the Florida state, I just moved here and 2) I am directionally challenged, I always carry a GPS to get me around.

Appointment is 11 am, I leave house at 10:30 as address is on Palm coast parkway wihich is 1 mile from my house. I cannot locate office, and go around in circles at least 4 or 5 times, I then asked for help with some ladies jogging. They gave me instructions and still ended up going around in circles. I was so frustrated I was in tears. I called the office to get directions but got recording. Left a message no one called back. an hour had passed of me driving in circles and in tears. I called dr office back and this time got a person who was of no help to me with directions and did not offer to find someone else in office that may have been able to give directions. I was told to add NW to address in GPS, stop by and pick up paperwork but I would have to reschedule appt as my 'allotted time' had expired.

OK, I finally got to the plaza. Then:

address was 4865. In the plaza I found 4863 and 4867 with an unmarked address location in between. I walked in there (I am on crutches) only to find out address 4865 was on the opposite side of this street. I drove there. Found the office and walked in (again on crutches) . One lady was in waiting room. Sliding glass door was marked, do not tap on glass, do not move glass door, just sit down and wait . No sign in sheet. Other lady in office said 'I know, it doesn;t make sense, and it was her 1st time in this office and she did not like it either.' I loudly called for help standing in front of the glass window. A young lady opened the window, and said for me to sit down and wait as she was on the phone. I told her that standing/sitting/walking on crutches was not easy. She just repeated earlier statements. I sit down, close to really just plain losing it, and the girl came out a few minutes, and handed me the pre-office visit paperwork. She said she walked out of the office to save me some steps. OK. I asked her about rescheduling, hoping I would not have to wait another month to get in. She said I have to stand up and come to window then. ??? what about saving me steps? ok, fine. I go to window, she says dr cannot see me till mid December but I could see license practitioner in 2 weeks. ???? I was so very angry, frustrated and felt so helpless, I said I would take the appointment with the practitioner but that in the meantime I would try to find a different doctor to see me. At this the girl said, "ok, since you say that, I cannot/will not schedule you...period."

I shoved her paperwork through the office toward her to her desk and walked out. The other lady in the office even offered her appointment for me but she and I were told no. Evidently I am not supposed to find someone else. I just really hope no one else has an experience with this office/doctor anywhere near my experience. It ruined my day, and today I am still upset. I only gave it one star because the system forced me to mark a star rating.
