American Deck was amazing! My deck was in shambles until John and his crew came along. Understandably, weather permits when the job can be done and John communicated with me at all times and the work was fantastic! American Deck will always have my business.

Do NOT contact American Deck!!!! The WORST owner I have ever dealt with in my life! John!!! I'm not done with them yet!! They over-applied the sealant according to Carol who sometimes answers the phone when you attempt to contact them!! My attorney will deal with American Deck (LACK OF MAINTENANCE - Should be there name!!!!!) John Sundquist ruined my new deck!! Call another company!!!!!

If possible I would give no star. In the Spring of 2014 we hired American Deck Maintenance to sand, stain, and seal two decks that were installed in the fall of 2013. The staining applied was done poorly as the deck looked spotted with areas of lighter and dark stain of all sizes. After many attempts, American Deck Maintenance came out in the Fall of 2014 and said they would redo it at no charge in the Spring. Spring of 2015 rolled around I could not get hold of them, or when I did, they told me they would be out and they never did. There was always one excuse or another. Spring turned to Summer and Summer to Fall and still my deck looked awful. So here we are in the Spring of 2016 with a renewed commitment for them to be out this morning, weather permitting, and of course no one is here, no one has called, and no one was there when I called them. Shame on me for even believing them again. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!!! They are dishonest and do not honor there commitments.

i had a deck that i had tryed to maintan but the repairs was just frustrating me so i hired American Deck ....A gentlemen came to my house quickly and promptly (about 2 days after i called) and gave a very competitive qoute i went with them since they been in bussiness as long as my sons been born (hes just graduated collage) The deck men did not dissapoint once our wacky chicago weather was good enough it was washed and sealed better that i could do it in half the days lol.........i spent a week they where there maybe tops 3 days...clean and polite i can tell they have been trained to do this just arent guessing and have a great system for payment....id recommend them since i was recommeneded by a friend....
