My boyfriend and I were visiting in early November. After watching the sunset over the lava flow, we were looking for a place to eat dinner before driving back to Kona. We just happened into Kaleo's. How lucky for us! The live music was a wonderful surprise. My boyfriend ordered a burger, I ordered the Mahi sandwich. It was one of the best pieces of fish I've had in a LOOOOONG time. My boyfriend said "that's the best burger I've had in over 10 yrs". We plan on returning to Kaleo's on our next visit, even if we have to drive out of our way to do so!

Kaleo's is the BEST of Pahoa. We first went there for Valentine's day with several other people. We had a marvelous meal and everyone enjoyed themselves so much. There was live music and the food was excellent. Since then we have been back 4 times. . . and we hardly ever ate out before. Our next visit will be this Saturday for Father's day with our son and I'm sure it will be an evening to remember. Mili
