I wish we lived closer to Paducah so Dr. Wynn could be our regular vet. About 3 weeks ago, our pup had very deep cuts to both of her front legs, so deep you could see the muscle on one leg. My fiance and I were at KY lake for the weekend and not near our primary vet's office. We ended up at West Ky Emergency Vet around midnight. Dr. Wynn and his family were so welcoming from the minute we walked in, instantly putting us more at ease. He spent more than an hour with us examining our pup and giving us instructions for her care. We never felt rushed or that we were taking too much of his time with our many questions. Dr. Wynn's number is now posted on our lake house refrigerator for any emergencies in the future. Can't say enough good things. Great service and great family!

My dog was diagnosed with bone shards in his stomach (which was true) and was given a stool softener and told he should pass it on his own. 3 days later, I had to rush my dog to nashville to an emergency hospital and was found to have a severe pelvic fracture which was impeding into his colon which is why he could not deficate. A severe pelvic fracture was not seen on the xrays! I was actually given a copy of the xrays which I have since looked at. The fracture is right there. My dog suffered due to incompetence and almost died from it.

This is a wonderful, family-run vet's office where they are extremely nice and helpful. I really like the way they treated my cat. Dr. Wynn is compassionate and careful, and has a really genuine demeanor with the pet and with the owner--I'm really glad we went this Dr. Wynn--I wish people-doctors were this great!

Best Care for any pet

My animals have been patients of Dr Wynn for many years. Dr Wynn and his staff go above and beyond to care for any pet like it is a family member. I have taken rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and dogs large and small to Dr Wynn and he treats them all with care and compassion. Many vets I called in the Paducah area would not even see my smaller pets. The emergency vet clinic is an invaluable service to have in the West KY area. If you have a need after hours that your normal vet cannot attend I would not hesitate to seek the care of Dr Wynn and his staff. You won't be disappointed.

They treated me the best I could possibly have been treated. A few weeks ago, my cat of 13 years had reached the end point of his life, but unfortunately it was 2AM on a Sunday morning. Thankfully, this facility was open to perform what he desperately needed. All of the staff was courteous, and took care of my cat in his final minutes, and helped me through the final steps. I am so thankful for them because they helped me in my darkest hour to ease the pain, for both myself and Kitty.

I want to thank Dr. Wyn and his whole family for the compassion and comfort they showed this past weekend. This family runs this clinic on the weekends to provide 24 hour emergency services for pets. I did not know they existed until Sunday. They are open from the time the regular vets offices close on Friday until 7 AM on Monday. They are across from Energy Fitness. Absolutely one of the best vets in this area providing a much needed service. Again, thank you.
