The Paducah Power System is the COMMUNITY-OWNED municipal electric power provider for the city of Paducah, KY. The municipal system has been bringing public power to the residents of Paducah since Sept. 1, 1961. The power company serves approximately TWO-THIRDS of the residents of McCracken County, including the city of Paducah. Geographically, PPS service area covers 47 square miles with 22.500 total residential, commercial and industrial customers. Paducah Power's mission is to provide the most reliable electric service at the lowest rates possible.

Provided by YP.comThey made a very bad business decision, and now the consumers are paying the price for it. Their rates are TWICE as as much as any other electric provider near by. Unfortunately, we're stuck with them since you can't choose your electric provider here in Paducah KY. They suck!
