Great beer, excellent location and views. The food is yummy, but slightly pricey for what you get when compared to other local places. E.g the Fish n Chips is excellent, but wish there was more of it for the money, and personally, I'm not a huge fan of seeds and pineapple in the coleslaw. I sat at the bar and had solid service, though i did notice some tomfoolery amongst the staff. Nothing major, just some appeared to slack whilst others compensated and overheard staff talking about woes in front of guests. I still highly recommend. The beer is top notch and the view is hard to beat. Note: parking can be limited, but its part of being located in such a beautiful place and sharing parking with beach goers. Also, expect a healthy wait. I recommend putting in a name and then checking out the sights.

We were able to walk down the beach and watch the sunset and then go to the Pelican pub. The service was very good. We had appetizers that came quickly and were hot as well as very good.. Our beer was cold and refreshing.

It was so delicious! This place is a hidden gem! Great pizza and sea food.

The Pelican Pub has great food and they brew their own beer. We sometimes enjoy a beer and sandwich while watching the Pacific Ocean waves since it is located right at Cape Kiwanda.
