I have gone to Aurora's for the past few years. I have found the hair stylists to be very inconsistent. Dawn does a fantastic job, but the others stylists are not as good.

Although nice and friendly, my hair stylist neglected to ask me what I wanted done before attempting to wash my hair. I stopped her and made sure she knew what I wanted; a simple trim. I liked the cut I had previously and I just wanted it cleaned up. After cutting my bangs wet, which even I know is risky, she dried my hair and turned me around to see a completely different set of bangs! A full inch shorter than when I walked in and totally horizontal, instead of side swept and parted on the side as they had been before. She tried to cover herself by giving me "her professional opinion" that this shape was better for my face. Not only do I totally disagree (as do my friends and family), but I did not come in there to have her change my hair style according to her "professional opinion" without even discussing it with me first! There was a total disregard for what I asked for, and she simply did what she knew how to do. I now walk around with pinned-up bangs waiting for them to grow out.
