About Hoff Engineering Hoff Engineering has manufactured pleated filters since 1958. Over 50 years of continuous experience in developing industrial filters can be put to work on your filtration challenge. The company began as a two person operation in the owner's basement. Initially concentrating on automotive air filters, Hoff Engineering's emphasis shifted to EDM Filters and Pleated Bag Filters, and eventually into a broad range of OEM and Aftermarket Filters CUSTOM FILTER CARTRIDGE ENGINEERING Based on fifty years experience in designing, testing, and manufacturing pleated industrial filters. We work with manufacturers to develop air and liquid filters to exacting requirements. Our niche is pleated filters in challenging applications. EXTENSIVE PLEATING PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE With technical filter papers, synthetic and fiberglass media, wire cloth, and multi-layer configurations. COMPLETE PRODUCTION FILTER CAPACITY In-house capabilities include: pleating, curing, machining, rolling, welding, metal spinning, painting and coating, plastic core manufacture, injection molding, side-seaming, mold making, hot melt gluing, urethane potting, epoxy potting, media slitting. A complete filter development laboratory combines flat sheet testing and full element performance testing for air and liquid applications. Test fluids include fuels, hydraulic and dielectric oils, coolants, and deionized water. Working with customers and materials suppliers, Hoff Engineering develops proprietary filter media, custom element construction, and job-specific housing designs to optimize filter performance.
