Established in 1940, the Oxford Church of Christ is a Christian congregation. Based in Oxford, Ala., it conducts worship services with singing, prayers and preaching, along with the Lord's Supper and Offering, on Sunday mornings. The church offers Bible study for children and the youth, Summer Bible camps, group trips and fellowship activities. It has several ministries, such as Special Events, Childhaven, the Gospel Broadcasting Network, Lads to Leaders and House to House. The church also conducts stateside and foreign missions, along with preacher training schools. Additionally, the Oxford church of Christ organizes a variety of community events, including food drives, dinners, presentations, conventions and devotional meets.
