Torah Institute, located in Baltimore, is a Jewish religious school that has been operational for more than 50 years. It serves more than 500 children in grades kindergarten through eight. The school s academic curriculum provides in-depth knowledge about Torah study and practice. It also emphasizes on reading, building vocabulary, writing and communication skills. The school uses the Davka Dikduk software for learning basic Hebrew grammar. Torah Institute also provides special programs for the preparation for yeshiva high school. Additionally, it organizes Shabbat parties, and offers Jewish prayers, such as Tefilah. It also organizes Mishna and Gemara classes that focus on Jewish culture and heritage. Torah Institute also organizes daily Minyanim, such as Shacharis and Mincha. The institute also offers various extracurricular activities for its students, such as chazora and midos programs and field trips.
