Install bathroom sink hardware after new countertops installed. Purchased all hardware + failed to get entire pop-up assembly. The workers realized the missing parts & unable to locate the parts at Home Depot. 2 drains left unassembled + non-usable. Workers left home without explanation + no bill left. I went to Home Depot + purchased parts the following day. Received bill a few days later, called the manager to discuss amount. Found amount excessive and bill did not provide details on how the fees were constructed, especially since the work was incomplete. Requested a detailed bill. The manager offered to have workers return for an additional fee-said don't bother-they showed up anyway expecting to charge me again. While awaiting detailed bill, received 3 calls for payment. Each call requested again a detailed bill. A month later finally received. It took 34 days + 3 calls to receive detailed bill. A few days later received certified letter threatening a lien on my home. LACK of ACCOUNTABILITY and TRANSPARENCY and INEFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION, to consumers like myself. So BUYER BEWARE!!. Also I wrote them a letter explaining in detail all the events and I never received any response, nor apology. I gave them ample time before I decided to start providing this well-deserved negative review on their business practices. The company charged me $322.50 to install hardware for 4 sinks, Two of the sinks were unusable as they were incomplete. They wanted to charge me more money to complete the job when they sent workers the second time. So my question is, would that charge had been higher if I had purchased all the correct pop-up materials for the two sinks? Or, would the charge had been even higher, and why? BTW I did pay them in full even though they did not provide in full- usable sinks! Shame on you
