I took my car in for an oil change. The guy behind the counter was all stressed out because the computer wasn't working. He said he couldn't print a receipt. I asked if that meant they couldn't do the oil change and I needed to go elsewhere. He said no, he could do it just not print an invoice. Ok, then chill, guy.

Two days later, I took my car to Burnett Automotive for different service. I noticed on the way there a burning smell. Burnett Automotive told me, "Whoever recently changed your oil made quite a mess under there. We usually only see that much of a mess when there is a leak. You don't have a leak. We checked." I asked them what to do. They suggested I take it back to NTB to get it cleaned. I called NTB. He said, "How come it took 2 days for you to notice?" What? I didn't drive it for a couple of days. Besides, it was just 2 days! WTH!? I asked if he would clean it. He reluctantly said yes.

Burnett Automotive heard my end of the conversation. They said they would clean it up without charge.

I just received a call from NTB asking our opinion of the recent visit but she ONLY wanted to talk to my husband because HIS name is on the account! GRRRRR Talk to me or hang up. I was the one with the experience, not him. You've lost my service.

I took my Tahoe in for a simple oil change and was told the brakes looked great. I left with a rear brake that was making a grinding sound. I took it back two days later and was told the slider was stuck causing the grinding sound and that they would give me a discount on a $400 rear brake rotor and pad replacement.

I have taken my vehicles there for 10+ oil changes and always had a good experience with them. I will never take another vehicle there or recommend anyone to go there again. I will go out of my way to make sure no one I know gets ripped off by this NTB again.
