I would think twice. My husband had testicular cancer at the age of 65. We were given all the information about this type of cancer and common places where it can spread to lungs, brain area. When diagnosed the Cancer Center only found the cancer in the abdominal area and started radiation therapy. He did radiation therapy for a month. He went back every 3 months for follow up visits with a CT scan. A year later the cancer was found again in the lung area, When ask how this got missed on the CT's we were told they only order a CT for the original area of cancer. When the radiation doctor entered the hospital room her quote was " You are a prime example as to the reason I need full body scan and my superiors won't allow it." Not being in the medical field we had just assumed they were checking everywhere since they gave us all this information about it spreading. From the 1st doctor we saw they all replied that my husband was the first patient they had every seen with testicular cancer at his of 65, most patients are 15-34 yrs old. That being said I should have picked up on those remarks started looking for a doctor who was more experienced with his age.
