Excellent food
Sharing meals together between husband and wife
Eating outside delightful, River beautiful, although the highway is a bit noisy

The service was great. The view with outside seating next to the water is great. Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment, especially considering the high prices. The chowder was really thin. Maybe two potatoes. The gator bites were ok but very small and not very many. My grilled chicken was bland. I don't believe it was seasoned at all. Just tasteless. But what really got me were the mashed potatoes. Some sort of mixture of potato, brocholi and cheese? And they were a weird grey color. Even the waiter said they looked unappealing.

The swordfish special was bland and did not seem to fresh. The red pepper sauce over it did help to give the fish some flavor, and the rice and black bean side dish was also bland. I also ordered a salad with the meal which was very fresh and the dressing, honey mustard, was excellent. The atomosphere is excellent, and the wait staff are pleasant.

My companion ordered the chicken wrap, which he said was very tasty, and full of meat. It came with a side of fries, which were ok. Your best bet is to stick to the regular menu, and skip the specials.

So few places know how to really cook seafood but this is not one of them. the very best
