Good food, good ambiance

Have been here a couple of times, sliders are good and so is the sushi. the ambiance of the restaurant is very appealing as are the waiters and waitresses. Overall, the food is good.

HAPPY HOUR PLEASURE

This is a fantastic place to go in downtown Orlando. You will usually see my best friend and I walk around Lake Eola and then swing into SPICE from the back and enjoy apps and wine on the back patio. The views of the lake are second to none, and it's a great place to kick back and enjoy great conversation along with your favorite cocktail. Cocktails and beer are only $3 at happy hour I think, $4 for wine. But skip all that and try the Wente Reisling! Absolute perfection for the warm summer days!

Very nice restaurant

We dined on our anniversary and were very pleased. I had the Stuffed Pork Chops and my wife the small filet. Service good. Food very good. Definately a winner.

Worth a visit

I have only been there once for lunch, but I will return to check out the happy hour. The food was good and the prices are ok for the area. They offer a huge wine selection that can definitely compete with the Eola Wine Company. Spice's Happy Hour includes wines and some mixed drinks for $4 from 3 to 7pm and starts again at 9pm. The patio looked really nice and has an outside bar, fire place and great view of Lake Eola. Service was good, but they seemed a little overwhelmed with the lunch rush and forgot to seat us for a while since nobody had cleaned the tables. But give it a few more weeks and they will work out their little problems, they have only been open for less than two months...

POOLY MANAGED BY YOUNG INEXPERIENCED MANAGERS

I held a professional program at SPICE. Management lost the information regarding the billing information and called the police on me because I refused to put the total on my personal credit card.

If they expect to work with professional organizations, they need to become professionals at getting organized enough NOT to loose the billing information.

Service was good, till they called the police. No apologies were expressed for their lack of management.
