I cannot put into words just how badly I wish I never hired this inept bunch of money-hungry thieves.I guarantee all the bad reviews are true and the good ones are bogus. They make mistakes that cost you hundreds, even thousands of dollars, but never accept responsibility or apologize. They filed bank papers with the wrong buyer's names and then we have to start all over and all the while having to pay them hundreds every month for several years trying to short sale. I could have had better service from a local firm for a fraction of what I have paid KEL. Please,do not hire these crooks.

Scam,liars and thieves .They stole $1,400 from me,then told me I would be receiving a check in the mail 2 months past now .they avoid my calls they cannot justify any reason why they won't refund my money paid in to them .They've done this to other clients ,they've been fined by Florida state bar on ethics violations .the better business bureau rates them as an F - for fraudulent practices , stay away!

This was the worst experience with a firm I have experienced. They did NOTHING for me. My case is closed and they are STILL continuing to bill me. They are scammers.

The law firm, Kaufman, Englett and Lynd, was awarded a rating of an ‘F’ in 2011 by the Better Business Bureau because of its failure to “to resolve the underlying cause of a pattern of (client) complaints.” Because of pressure from the Better Business Bureau, the law firm decided to remove itself from the accreditation program of the organization, the first time a law firm did this in the history of the Better Business Bureau.



KEL law firm founders disciplined by Florida Supreme Court.... The Florida Supreme Court ordered that the three founders of Kaufman, Englett & Lynd PA law firm be publicly reprimanded. All three founders acknowledged they failed to communicate properly with clients about cases. In addition to the reprimand, the owners also were ordered to attend ethics schools and pay the cost of Florida Bar investigation.



Mistakes in a consumer-bankruptcy case involving Sanchez and the inadvertent violation of a related court order drew the wrath of U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Arthur Briskman, who temporarily barred KEL from practicing bankruptcy law in the Middle District of Florida. The Orlando-based judge later filed a complaint with The Florida Bar and cited KEL itself for what he termed “unprofessional” work.

Highly recommend avoiding this law firm. Currently 88 complaints and an F rating with the BBB... only wish we had done our homework instead of trusting the radio ads on 104.1, RealRadio... shame on on them for allowing such a despicable business advertise on their much beloved airwaves. Now we're out $1500 for absolutely nothing.

This firm uses a very old trick. Get you into an office, tell you everything you want to hear, get some $ up front, then completely fall through in every way afterwards.

I've hired them for three properties. Paid over $12K in the past 2 years. No result, no updated phone calls, never met an attorney, met only their sale people. Big scam. First they said the house will now avoid Forclosure. After one year the house was in forclosure and then they said it wasn't garenteed it would stay out. lol Biggest joke ever. They can't even back up what they said the first time and they take no responsibility for what they said in the beginning. The only time I've ever heard back from them was when it was time to renew the contract and they wanted another $2500 per property. haha Scammers!

I find it shocking that this is the only web site that posed good reviews on Kaufman, Englett & Lynd. They were retained approximately a year ago to assist with a loan modification on our behalf with Bank of America (America's nightmare). We have yet to get any information in regards to what's going on. I recently checked the Orange County Judicial webpage and the last thing there pertaining to our case was the judgment to foreclose on the home.



I paid out a little over $3000 and I cannot get to speak directly with an attorney.

Currently, I have real estate representatives visitng the home, banging on the door as if they are cops telling me I have to move by 12/01/11 and I have yet to reach the so-call attorney representing the case. Today 11/04/11, I see BBB has dropped KEL.

Please, if there's anyone out there who has had a good experiene with KEL, please say something. This is the first site, I actually found positive information and no negatives. I dont' know what to do or think.

I just wanted to express appreciation on the way my Short Sale was handled. Within the past few months I have had the pleasure of working with one of KEL employees. Her promptness and dedication in handling my case with Chase bank went smoothly.



She returned every one of my phone calls and emails. Her attitude and professionalism is an asset to your firm. Although I never had the privilege to meet her face to face I thank her for all her hard work and dedication.



In these times of financial hardship throughout the world, and with so many families needing assistance with their mortgages, I am happy I found KEL.

KEL offers the best assistance and service (not to mention RESULTS!) --in my opinion! Moving was a LOT of work but we are just about back to normal :). I am so grateful that I had KEL to help me with my efforts.

I am writing this review in reference to one of KEL staff members who is currently assisting my wife and I with our credit card debt. She has been instrumental in helping us settle several major credit cards an obtaining outstanding settlement offers as well as payment plans. She is customer oriented and professional in addition she is always available and her response time is impeccable. I would be happy to recommend the services of KEL to anyone who is in need of assistance. They have done a great job and their people are top notch! Keep up the good work.

I just want to say a few words about Kel Attorneys. Their kindness, courteous and professional attention to both my husband and myself that helped us through the most stressful years of our lives. We have dealt with MANY KEL employees and I have to say each really provided us with the attention needed. They are the best.

Thank you to KEL for your assistance!!! Our organization was officially declared a public charity today! Without your help filing our form 1023 we would not have been able to be declared a charity under 501 (c)(3) of the IRS Code. Glad I found them when I did!
