James E. Kendrick, MD, FACOG, is board certified in gynecologic oncology and currently serves as the Clinical Director of Gynecologic Oncology at AdventHealth in Orlando. He joined the gynecologic oncology program at the AdventHealth Cancer Institute in 2009 upon completion of a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology and a three-year fellowship in gynecologic oncology at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He graduated with honors from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He holds affiliate faculty appointments with the FSU and UCF colleges of medicine, is widely published in numerous academic journals, and currently serves as the principal investigator for numerous clinical trials available to our patients. His clinical interests include robotic surgery and the surgical and medical management of all gynecologic malignancies. Awards & Recognition Top Doctors Award, Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society, Graduate Cum Laude; Clinical Curriculum Achievelent Award; Association of Pathology Chairs Honor Society Award; Best Resident Presentation (ASCCP); FH GME Research Day Presentation Awards, etc. Differentiators Dr. Kendrick is an accomplished surgeon, and as of July 2018 has completed over 1,800 robotic procedures. In addition to his clinical practice, he is also striving to improve the efficiency and proficiency of the Cancer Institute through his work as an Oncology Transformational Medicine Director.
