Gem Supply, founded in 1930 as Gem Chemical Co., is one of Florida s largest independent janitorial supply distributors. It is a wholesaler of janitorial equipment/supplies, mats/matting, die-cut paper, paperboards and chemicals. Based in Orlando, Fla., the company offers a wide array of products in the lines of skin care, food service, industrial packaging, paper, cleaning equipment and safety among others. It operates from a 63,000 square foot building and hosts the Continuing Education Center program for cleaning professionals as well as warehousing facilities. Gem Supply caters to hotels, country clubs, resorts, theme parks, schools, churches, institutions and cleaning contractors.
