We were referred to Florida Catastrophe after a fire in our kitchen. We had terrible damage to our roof, cabinets, appliances, and floor, but it was luckily contained to just a couple rooms. We couldn't be happier with the level of service we received throughout the entire restoration process. My husband and I were initially very worried that after this fire in our new home (2-3 years old) we couldn't expect the restoration to be as good or better than the original, but we were very pleasantly surprised that our home looks a good as new. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the entire team at Florida Catastrophe who helped us work through a devastating situation!

After our hot water heater flooded a good amount of our house and all the garage we were pretty bummed, but the guys here did a great job facilitating the clean up and restoration of our house. It only took about a week and a half and we were back to normal. Thanks again, guys!

My husband and I had a water pipe burst in our home while we were out of town on vacation. It was devastating coming home to flooded home. We quickly reached out to our insurance company who put us in contact with FLA-CAT. They were extremely quick with getting our home back together. They replaced our carpet, and removed a little mold damage. They did an excellent job and were very professional at all times. If I'm ever in need of assistance with mold damage, flood damage or even a simple remodel, I will definitely use FLA-CAT. I recommend them to anyone else in need of this type of repair.

Our insurance company basically demanded we use fla cat. Seemed fine at first but be assured they will take you to the cleaners in every way possible. They take advantage in your time of need assure you every thing is fine. Vague on pricing until you get a bill, charging 10 times what a contractor would charge. Outright took items as cleaning up. It is a huge fight and a scam every step of the way and the insurance seems to back them up. They strategically take advantage. Save yourself from this company. Zero stars.

Florida Catastrophe is appropriately named. Don't let these shysters into your home. We had water damage in our kitchen. Our insurance company mandated that we use this company for restoration. THey talk a good game, but in reality are awful. We needed new cabinets. They said "oh we have this cabinet guy, he's great, he'l recommend designs, etc.". He showed up, tossed us a book and said "what do you want". Then they gave the quote for the work and we asked, specifically, is this the charge for everything? We asked this multiple times. They assured us this was the total. Then when the bill came due, it was significantly higher (around $5000 higher). That's when they told us, "oh, that quote was the vase price, you had a lot of add-ons". They tried to charge us extra for installation of the new range hood, because "it took two people to install instead of one". This despite the fact that we had given them the stats, model number, etc, of the range hood before they gave us their quote. Their tile guy (also touted as a great guy) was moderatley better, but still there are crooked tiles and rough edges. They couldn't get the dishwasher installed properly (that took three tries - separate visits - after we complained that it was sticking out and crooked). So here we are a year later and I just went to do some work under the sink and found mold and water damage. Why? Because they never screwed the drain pipe to the sink. It was in place, but not screwed on, so water has been seeping out for a year. Luckily that was on the left sink, which we don't use as much. I fixed the problem by screwing the nut on, by hand - that's all it took. Sloppy, sloppy work. Major incompetence. I could go on and on about the issues we had with them. Avoid this company at all costs.

Company uses all sub contractors who when questioned before hand Manager stated they were thier employees let people whio were passing by walk thru our home without approval when your are not there treat your personal belongings with no respect painted over a/c vents bath room vanities counter tops not installed properly no screws just glued down glue came loose after six month's Custom blinds were thrown between 2 storage units that were in our drive way Sub Contractor had to replace at thier cost Recommendedby our Insurence Company also but would never recommend to a friend as the Manageer of Fla Cat was never on site unless requested by Home Owner and then would either make excuses or not showw up. very dissatisfied.

Recommended by our insurance company, Fla-Cat did a disaster recovery job from a kitchen fire in our house. There's so many horror stories about contractors that I felt I had to write a review as these people deserve to be recognized. The work was first rate with very high quality materials, responsive management and hard working employees who speak well of their employers. Thanks everyone!
