After serving in the first Gulf War, I returned to my ROTC teaching position at UCF. Orlando is my home town and at the time the Army was offering substantial incentives to soldiers considering getting out. I had two brothers already in the auto repair industry looking for an opportunity to start their own business. Upon my departure from the Army, we launched Autotech Internationale, Inc. That was 1993. In 1994, we started a radio broadcast called "The Auto Answer Show". The show ran locally for 6 years on WTLN. Because of the show's success, and we collected a lot of our current clients. The shop has more than 30 years of history here on Colonial Drive. People remember this shop from the 70's and 80's as "Frank & Eddies Automotive. In those days the shop did a lot of work on state highway patrol cars. That drew a lot of attention and the shop prospered. We purchased the shop in 1994 and continued servicing the same customers. Through the talk radio show we expanded our base of customers over a six year period.
