We had work done after the hurricane. A1 Septic were the cheapest around and also they were very professional and helped me out in every way. Thank you again for the awesome work

A1 septic initially quoted me $2500 to replace a drain field, said it would take about 3 weeks to complete. Final bill was $4725, almost twice the quote, and it took 5 weeks! Do not use! Scammers!!

I had a back up and another company told me it was a bad df. I called A1 for a second opinion and they took out my filter and it worked great after. The tank wasn't pumped either when I had the other company do it so A1 helped me out and Pumped it out at a reasonable price. 150% recommend

I contracted for a new Drain Field Installation. The Drain Field was done and a good job. HOWEVER, they had substandard truck and Back hoe drivers that when filling the hole damaged the driveway and sidewalk. They broke several chuck of the driveway and scored the driveway.
The Sales Agent Tom came by said it was horrible and took pictures. That was it, no call returns. I had to spend $2300 to have the driveway repaired. The contract states "Owner responsible for all damage". Ok... but that means they can be careless, and have unprofessional staff to do the job and the client gets ripped off. Do yourself a favor DONT USE SEPTIC 1. They are not honest, have careless staff and you hope they don't damage anything. They are dishonest in their responsiveness and actions. Find a professional company out their. They don't seem to care.

I used this company a couple years ago to drain my septic tank they told me that a post had been placed over the opening so they punched a hole in my septic tank and the manager owner would not have the truck come back to seal the hole and did not want to spend the money stated that it would be just a little bit dirt that would get in there . That is a code violation n was wrong in so many ways it's created issues for me and I would never use this company again. Run call someone else

I was over flowing in toilets on a Saturday morning. I called and within an hour they was at my house and pump out out my tank and took care of it. I feel they was very honest and did not try to sell me extra stuff since I'm a women and only person that lives in home. But no they told me I didn't need anything else and I was taken care of. This honest team at A1 Septic is the best septic company I have ever seen

This place is Amazing. Had a problem and was sad and i called them and they said not to worry. They came to my house and fixed the problem and now im happy. Very honest people

This company A1 Septic was amazing. I had floods in my house and when they came to pump my tank we realized it was a bad Drain Field. They came and gave me an estimate which was reasonable and while waiting for a permit they kept coming back and pumping my tank every 2 days to make sure i did not flood in the house again and did not charge me extra. They was very honest and easy to talk to. When everything was complete the owner came to my house to make sure everything was correct and i was happy. I will recomend them to everyone. A1 Septic is Number 1 Septic.

During the course of selling a home, A-1 was hired by the buyer's agent to do a septic tank inspection. A-1 reported hundreds of dollars worth of work that needed to be done. I called Green's Environmental (A rated on Angie's List) - they found nothing wrong. Then I called Glen Tatum Septic (also A rated on A.L..) - they found nothing wrong. Then I wrote this review. Run, Forrest!!!

Terrible. Untrustworthy. Negligent. Over-priced and does half-assed work.

A-1 Septic pumped our tank in June of 2010 and then again in March of 2012. Our system needed pumping again in April 2013 and no one at A-1 got back to me. Fortunately, another service - Total Septic was available and came out. Good thing too because we learned that our tank had a baffle which is another chamber directly adjacent to the other and that it needs to be pumped each time also. Also learned that it was simple to determine if the second chamber was there by actually looking into the tank. A-1 septic never looked for the other tank and as a result we had several years worth of build-up. It's arguable if the 2nd A-1 trip and the subsequent Total Septic trip were even necessary had it been done properly the first time. Adding insult to injury, we paid considerably more for A-1's service. Perhaps even worse though is that we learned that the system has a filter that CAN BE CLEANED WITH A HOSE and reused. A-1 Septic charged us for a new filter at a cost of an additional $175 EACH TIME THEY CAME OUT (online you can get them for $45). I tried to contact them to see if they'll remedy this but no one ever got back to me - big surprise. Bottom line is this company will do half-ass work and charge more for doing it. They will also try sell you things you don't need and overcharge you for them. MY RECOMMENDATION IS TO STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Save yourself the agony of dealing with these jokers, they come to your home pump half the tank out, and dump what appears to be more back into the tank. After two weeks I was backed up again. Called them back now they are trying to sell me a 5k dollar system replace the whole system is what I was told. As a smart consumer i got a second opinion, and trust me it was well worth it. Just needed my main line jetted. So for 200 dollars i resolved my issues and its been 60 days and tank is empty and no backups into the house.Again save yourself the headache, shop around.

I was serviced last year, with a septic cleaning and their staff was very professional and very knowledgeable in their work. Explained to me how to maintain the septic system and what to avoid to keep the health and life of my system. I would recommend them 150%.

I had a problem with my septic and called A-1,needless to say I was worried that I may have needed a new one. Doug a representative of A-1 quickly diagnosed the problem as a clogged filter,as soon as it was replaced my septic ran like new. The professionalism,courteous treatment and knowledge from Doug made me feel great. In this world where everyone tries to rip you off,I was happy that an Honest Company with honest employees exist. Needless to say I will highly recommend them to everyone I know and have nothing but high praise for Doug and A-1 Septic Tank Service.
