Worst service I've ever seen.
This hotel has seen better days. The staff is indifferent and when I asked for the channel guide twice, they never got back to me. I also didn't like the way the door locked but it was when I was awakened after midnight by loud music that I finally complained.
The manager named Alex came to my room at this hour and said he didn't hear music. I told him how I called about t he TV (I don't appreciate being being called a liar) he rudely turned on the TV, said it worked and the guide was in the drawer (apparently the staff couldn't be bothered telling me that when I called twice before). Then he said I had to jiggle the door to get it to lock. He was very condescending which I didn't appreciate, especially after being awakened from a sound sleep.
When the house continued I called him again and he was annoyed and still denied the problem. By 2am I had enough so I got dressed and went to the front desk. The hallway reeked of marijuana and when I told him about that he said if I didn't like it I could leave. As a 55 year old woman traveling alone at 2am this was not an option so I just had to go back to my room. On the way back I saw about 8 young men roaming the hall and being loud but I dared not complain again.
I would not advise staying at this hotel as the staff is completely indifferent to any guest discomfort. Apparently, this is a party hotel and quite loud so it's not for families or business people or anyone who wants it a quiet and peaceful.
I also want to say that there was no wedding or function going on that would have caused the noise (and on a Saturday night, too, that should tell you something right there - perhaps they are going out of business). But regardless of their issues, there was no excuse for the rude way I was treated.
