Fernway Park Elementary School, located in Orland Park, Ill., is affiliated with the Kirby School District 140. It offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to more than 600 students in grades kindergarten through five. The school various programs, including English, arts, music, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. Fernway Park Elementary School also provides technology, speech, learning disabilities, gifted and talented education, band, accelerated reader, special and health education, and transitional programs. The school has a parent-teacher association that focuses on increasing awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development, by enhancing communication between home and school.
