Great food n excellent service

I took my son there for his birthday and we all had a great time. The rib tips that we had just melted in our mouths. Our server had a great customer service I go back any day of the week

I can't say this was a bad restaurant at all. A few friends, my wife, and I all visited this restaurant when it first opened. As first time customers, they gave us a free bottle of BBQ sauce and the food was good. I really had no complaints, but it just seemed like "more of the same." It didn't really stand apart from the other "big box" steak/rib/BBQ franchises. Again, I had no complaints about the food or the service, but I gave it a three star rating because whenever my wife and I talk about going out for a meal, someone usually says, "How about Famous Daves?" The response is always, "Ehh, nah, there's better places around." We ended up going again last week and our experience was typical. Good food, a little pricier than I remember, and very "standard." There was nothing that stood out, so I'm guessing this will be our last visit (at least for awhile). In the end, it's your standard steak/rib/BBQ franchise food, the food is good, the service is good, but it just doesn't have the flavor or the flair that makes us want to keep going back.

This place can be hot and cold for carryouts. I've been skinned a few times with dry ribs, very salty ribs, etc. Not bad overall but too expensive for frequent visits.
