I broke my spine snowboarding when I hit a sign that had fallen down onto the trail and been covered by snow. Other law firms refused to take my case citing how hard it can be to prove liability against ski resorts. I'm so glad I called Van Dorn & Curtiss, who didn't back down, eventually settling out of court to fully cover my medical bills, pain and suffering. Attorney Kristin Ross really came through for me and was incredibly understanding and helpful throughout the whole process. I don't know where I would be today if I hadn't made that call.

My experience with the firm, and especially with Kristin, was excellent! I felt a definite sense of care and as if I mattered as a client. They conducted my initial interview at my house since I couldn't drive at that time, and at the end of my case, a settlement was made very quickly. They return phone calls quickly and self-initiate contact to keep you updated. You can be as much a part of your case as you want to be. I have maintained my friendship with Kristin since my business relationship was over! I would definitely recommend their firm.

I was in a car accident in 2001 and suffered from permanent injury. I had hired an attorney that I saw advertised on television (a local one). He wasn't willing to take it all the way and if I kept going his way, I would have had to file bankruptcy because of the medical expenses alone and he wasn't even reducing his fee so I fired him. I was recommended by my chiropractor to Robin Curtiss. While still in the process of settling the claim with the first accident, I was hit 2 more times, the third totaling my car. Robin had a nice little challenge on his hands. With the help of his assistant Shelly, they pulled rabbits out of hats and managed to get the first accident settled, then the second followed and then went to work on the third one (which caused further permanent damage). I had a capable team working on my side. The insurance company for the person who hit me the third time settled. If I ever am hit again (knock on wood that I don't!!!) or if I am in volved in anything needing an attorney, I know who I will turn to. Robin Curtiss. He really cares about his clients. His assistant, Shelly, was extremely helpful as well answering all of my questions and helping me fill out the tedious Interrogatories. She was always there when I needed her. I am so glad to have found them!
