I wanted to give a 10 to Mario, one of our salesmen but I am not good with this finding the right survey so will just have to do it here. Our experience with the purchase of our Altima started a few days before. We were in Orem to buy dress shirts and stopped at the Nissan dealer to see if we could get a lug nut for my husbands pathfinder. They were very nice and we said on the way home that if we decided to get an Altima we would go back to this Nissan dealership to get it. We had gone to Costco and learned that they have a car program and we heard that Nissan was having a sale. So, went online and got a message from Orem right away. So, we made an appointment to come over. When we got there, Mario was very nice to us as it was very busy. We were to see another salesperson but he had someone in front of us and Mario said hello and asked if we had been helped. I told him we were in line to see the other salesman. I asked Mario if he would be able to help us. Instead of just assuming that he could take the sale he approached the other salesperson to let him know that he would help us until he was free. And he did. Thought he was very nice to not just try to take another persons customer. He went on our test drive with us and we bonded. I love Nissan Altima's. Our first Nissan was a Datsun and have had 6 other Altima's. Even bought one in Mexico while we were there... Anyway, I could not find a color that I love but decided to go ahead and get the car. Mostly because of the way we were treated by our salesmen and their willingness to work with us. Peggy W.

It's been about a month now, so I'm updating my reviews of Ken Garff Nissan of Orem. Going from 3 stars to 5.



Based on the service and overall level of care I received. I would definitely recommend this dealership and Nissan if you are looking for a vehicle.



I did have some initial issues, which I learned were not common after doing some of my own research. But both Ken Garff and Nissan stepped up and made sure that everything was completely taken care of.



I'd like to thank Nate, Todd, Scott, A.J and all the other nice people from the Ken Garff staff that helped for their great service.

We had a great experience buying a new vehicle with Waldo Gonzales. He answered all our questions, and gave me and my wife plenty of time to discuss if we wanted to proceed with the purchase. Waldo also let us see the invoice of what Ken Garff paid for the vehicle. We had been to other dealerships, and they would not show their invoice.

Context--I'm an older, experienced car buyer. I'm a very picky, deliberative shopper who does a LOT of homework. I walked in to the dealership knowing exactly which car (model, trim, color, etc.) I wanted and what I was willing to pay (based on my research).



This was the best car buying experience I've ever had. They found my *exact* car (from another dealership), beat the price I had found online, and then delivered it to my house (took them overnight to get it from the other dealership). Andy Allen (andya@kengarff.com) is a fantastic sales guy. Look him up. He'll take good care of you. Financing experience was flawlessly awesome too.



Hence, 5 stars.

New car purchase

Will Lara is the best salesman I have ever worked with! We went into the dealership not expecting to leave with a new car and wound up doing just that! Will is very knowledgeable, down to earth and I never once feltpressured.the rest of the staff was wonderful as well.chris in sales went out of his way to locate my keys I mistmistaken ly left in my trade and overnighted fed x d them to me! I will never purchase a vehicle anywhere else.ken garff is the best of the best

After purchasing my car from them a month and a half ago, the mass airflow sensor went out on it last night, and of course that's not covered under my warranty, I'm now looking at a $500 repair bill on a car that I have owned for less than 2 months! I reached out and contacted everyone I could at this dealership and not a single person other than my salesmen attempted to try and do something about it. These people have been horrible to deal with and would urge everyone I know to never purchase a vehicle from this dealership! Not to mention, When I purchased it, they didn't detail it properly and I had to go and have the oil changed, they didn't take care of any of what they said they would from the beginning, I should have taken that as a clue! 1 star is far to many for this dealership!

Wonderful service from Tony Knighton

We were looking for a family vehicle with a 3rd row of seats, plenty of storage, decent gas mileage and a tight budget. We found a few that looked promising but just didn't fit everything we wanted.



Tony kept our needs in mind for several months and when the perfect vehicle for our needs and finances became available he called to see if we were still interested.

I love Ken Garff Nissan of Orem! When I originally bought a new 2012 Nissan Altima from them, I never expected or intended to use the "dealer" for regular service and maintenance. But I took them up on a free service for my first oil change, and I am glad that I did! Not only is their service exceptional and first rate, but their prices are very competitive with the quick lube places! I was pleasantly surprised at that considering I only use full-synthetic oil and it can be pricey. Now I've just traded in my Altima for a new 2013 Rogue SV and I was so impressed that sales rep Kristina Smith actually listened to what I was looking for! I ended up buying the very first car that she showed me and I absolutely LOVE IT!! Ken Garff Nissan of Orem has a customer for life. I've recommended them to several friends, and my boyfriend and another friend have both bought their trucks from them.

I purchased a car from them last year. They said I had to buy a ton of optional financial products (like gap insurance) in order to get 2.9% financing and they'd get me a doable payment by giving me $2K cash back (after subtracting my down payment it was more like $500) and having me apply that to my extra high payment for the first year. They wouldn't budge on negotiating the vehicle price. I couldn't afford that and told them I'd walk, so they put in writing that they'd refinance my car in a year when their payment program scam ran out so my car would still be affordable. I was satisfied with that offer and drove away in my new car. One year later, I went back to them to refinance and this Brantley guy tells me either I can buy a new car and use the payment scam (and play this game again in a year) or I can take a hike. I dealt with Terry Rasmussen and Brantley Reade. They are both untrustworthy and will do anything to AVOID HAVING TO BACK-U-UP. DON'T BUY FROM THEM, EVER.

Great Service Department

I am the father of a college student who was visiting Friends in Orem, UT for the summer vacation. My daughter(E) called and said she was having problems and had taken her car to several places and got conflicting stories as to what what wrong and outrageous prices. I contacted the service department at Ken Garff Nissan and spoke with Brian Martin who assured me that they would take care of my daughter's car problems.They certainly did a good job of that. One shop had told E that a clutch cable was going to be over $1,000.00. I looked up the part on the internet and it was way less than $100.00 and the dealer charged less than $200.00 for the job. Since E's Nissan was a little older it took a few days to get the parts, so the service department even provided a loaner for E to use while they fixed her car. They were so nice that I had them do the brakes, tune-up, change the fluids and all other routine maintenance- they even gave it a free wash-up. I would not hesitate to recommend Ken Garff" service department to anyone. Thanks again to all!!!!!!
