Great food and service always. The salmon chowder is a must. The log cabin is great in the winter months and the deck outside is breathtaking in summer. Its a great place to celebrate and show off the beautiful Clackamas River to friends/family visiting from out of state.

Have gone to the Stone Cliff Inn since it opened. It is the kind of place that makes your dining experience a happy memory. They have consistently improved. You can't improve on its location or the log cabin itself. One can't resist the forested cliff setting. The mammoth stone cliff is awe inspiring as is the beautiful view of the Clackamas River. The huge log constructed building exudes friendly, comfortable warmth when you walk in the door. We have tried most of the menu items, breakfast, lunch and dinner over the years and our favorite continues to be the salmon chowder. We know the staff continually tries to improve as shown by the "comments" card available. We have made several suggestions over time and those items were improved upon. The service has always been friendly and attentive. So the delightful location, ambience, food, drink and service will make your visit to Stone Cliff memorable. It is definitely our "go to" place for friends and out of towners.

You owe it to yourself and to your loved ones....This trip out to eat will not disappoint anyone....an adventure for all .......The view A+ Food A+....Service is 1st Rate...best thing is the overall value once you find it ....you will go back and be a regular....Winter/time is special there....Summer/time is spectacular.Try out their decks what a site...to see from most anywhere.

This restaurant is a huge log cabin that sits perched on an amazing hillside. Set in these old growth trees and rocks and boulders - with the most incredible view of the river. Wow! Food is YUMMY - The salmon chowder is my all-time favorite, winter or summer. I love The Stone Cliff Inn - you have to try it :)
