Everyone else at Dottys is super nice. I have had issues with only one person who works there and I try not go there when she is working. Her name is Melissa . These three incidents all happened with Melissa.

This summer when I went in to get something to eat I had asked about something they need to heat up and she replied"oh you aren't going to make me turn on the oven are you". She didn't want to turn on the oven as it was already hot outside and she didn't want it to be hotter in the establishment.

The second to last time I went in I was on a short break and ordered a diet Soda. I took a sip and the soda was flat. I took it back and because I didn't have time to wait I asked for my money back .she was snippy and just plain rude about how I was taking her tips as she had to get the dollar out of the tip jar.

Just this past Thursday I went over there to order a drink for my co-worker and she said " you really want another drink from me when the last time you ordered one you lied and said it was flat and then wouldn't wait for me to fix it. "I told her it was for a co-worker. "well she can come over and get it herself because I'm not giving you one so you can say it's flat when it's not. "

I left Dotty's in disbelief and told my co-worker what had happened she then ended up going over and Melissa was asking her if she knew me and my co-worker said yes and Melissa said that I was "a snotty bitch". My co-worker said really I don't know her to be that way she's super nice and sweet.

My co worker was just as shocked as I was to hear someone in her position talk about a customer in that manner.

I am darker skin and I have noticed on several other occasions I was treated differently by Melissa than my other co-workers. I feel that she has discriminated against me based on color of my skin and my age . I am older than 21. I wanted to bring this to the managers attention and to other people's attention as this is not an okay way to treat anyone no matter what .
