Keith E. Marquis is a solo attorney located in Orange, CT serving the State of Connecticut in Real Estate, Workers Compensation, Subrogation and Litigation matters since 1997. He is a veteran of the United States Army (1983-1986) 4th Infantry Division (Mechanized) and the CT Army National Guard (1986-1992) where he graduated from Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, Georgia in 1988. Upon leaving the CT Army National Guard he held the rank of First Lieutenant. He obtained his Bachelors of Science with Concentration in Business Economics from Southern Connecticut State University in 1990. He later obtained his Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University in 1996 while working full time as a police officer for the City of Bristol, CT. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association Workers Compensation Section as well as Real Estate Section. Keith E. Marquis opened his own practice in 2003. As an attorney, Keith E. Marquis has represented injured parties and insurance carriers in Workers Compensation matters for over 20 years. By being familiar with both claimant’s needs and insurance defense, Keith has a unique understanding of the needs of each participant of a compensation case. He has represented buyers and sellers in Residential Real Estate transactions (purchases and sales) as well as banks and borrowers in refinance and reverse mortgages. He has also closed short sale properties. In his free time, Keith E. Marquis has donated his time to Relay For Life and was a member of the Orange Board of Education for 8 years. He worked with the Milford Recreation Department having brought the ICan Bike/ ICan Shine program to their city. This is a program that teaches disabled children/young adults how to ride a bicycle and become more independent in their activities and everyday lives. Keith E. Marquis is married and has two daughters and enjoys free time riding his motorcycle, fishing or swimming with his kids.
