When Harbor Freight Moved into Orange City, I thought my prayers had been answered! I have loved the place for over 10 years and have always had to drive 70 or more miles to get there and back. Alas, all is not well in the land of cheap tools. This store is not nearly as good as the others. I have been there four times since they opened (yes, even on the first day) and experienced the following:

1. Been forced to put back items I wanted to buy because my 'Inside Track', discount card ($30) did not work on them, even though they were in the ads. Should have brought them with me...

2. Received nasty looks from the assistant manager as I tried to buy their floor display of an item I desperately needed, but their mail order had screwed up. Denied.

3. Told by Jackie (all the phone skills of a disinterested, stoned baboon) that, 'yeah, its the grand opening today, but there's nothing really going on'.



I guess I am spoiled by the Casselberry and Daytona stores, but I really expected better. Very disappointing!



Bottom line, come for the great products, don't expect great service.
