Was looking to buy new washing machine, after talking to the folks behind the counter and describing the issue I was having with my washer, they recommended I drop it off for service. Glad I did. The problem was not catastrophic and the repair was made for $87. They have always been fare with
me.

Repaired an additional part which was not needed at my grandmother's house! Looking to deceive elderly people. Also sold used part as new. Will not use again.

I would personally recommend to research the problem yourself before wasting your time or money with Atchley Appliance Services in Orange City. This company sent a technician to our home (took them 5 days) to diagnose a problem with our washer. They charged $70, the technician was there 15 minutes, did not conduct any research into the error code that our washer was flashing - only stated that we would need to replace the main control board. The company took 2 days to call me back with an estimate for repair - over $500. They were not willing to credit me the cost of the service call for going with their company for the repair. The part only cost $200 - however they were marking it up to $320 to sell it to me. This is a much higher mark up than what is considered standard in the industry. We decided to do some research ourselves before investing that kind of money. The error code actually meant 1 of 3 things could have been wrong with the washer - if the technician would have researched the problem he would have known that. It cost us $20 to replace a particular part on the washer which repaired the problem. When we were replacing the part we noticed the pump had been disconnected - which we believe was done by the technician that came to diagnose the problem as it was connected prior to their service call. Do your research, don't be the victim of a company trying to get more money out of you than is necessary like we feel Atchley's did.

Don't waste your time. After someone else came out and did not get my fridge fixed I called them and they said they would not come out because they don't know what the other guy did. WHAT? How does that have anything to do with you? Obviously you don't think you can fix it either. What a lousy excuse and terrible service.

I've had this service technician...Kim, fix my appliances for years. He has always been professional & believed that he could fix whatever was wrong instead of immediately telling us to buy a new one.
We built our house 30 years ago & bought all of our appliances from Atchley's.

Horrible service. They never show up on time. Owner and service rep terrilble to customers. Don't waste your time and a lot of money on this company,they will rip you off

If I could give them a (-10), that's what this company deserve. There is no professionalism, empathy or customer service. Rudeness is this company's strategy for service. Technicians don't have the knowledge to fix appliances and the company the ability to order parts in a reasonable amount of time. There are complaints with the Federal Trade Commission, FTC. I just read the review from maidencomfort and it was the exact problem I encountered with them. Back order parts (only for them), you call other places and parts are available. You will regret calling this company for services.
