Just completed refinancing a reverse mortgage loan with Wayne Slater, Loan Officer with Premier Lending Group. First, I want to say that the marketing package that was sent to me was the initial reason I called Wayne. I, like most who had an existing reverse mortgage, received an enormous amount of phone / mail solicitations to refinance. Wayne’s package was extremely professional and led me to believe that Premier Lending was looking for my business. Wayne listened to what my needs were and worked up a proposal that met the criteria I was looking for. He did not try to oversell me like my existing lender did. In fact, I know he was able to negotiate a better deal with the lender that will benefit me financially for many years to come. Wayne is very professional and extremely knowledgeable as to what the best types of reverse mortgages are available. He will find one that will meet your needs. Thank you, Wayne!! Rod R.

My name is Everett, 4 days before Christmas I had a heart attack, 2days later I had open heart surgery 1 bypass. Six weeks into my recovery, my Wife decided she didn't want dialysis any longer. She passed away 3-3-2020. We had already had a reverse mortgage on our home. and money was was going fast. One day I was at an office building where Premier lending group was located. I was just leaving and Wayne saw me and asked about a reverse mortgage and I told him I didn't qualify. but we talked. He and is office personnel were great It took a few weeks and I was sure it wasn't going to happen But too my surprise he succeded. I'm 85 and He worked very hard for me. If You or any body reading this, needs his service, you can't go wrong.

I was online looking for info on reverse mortgages. I entered my phone number and Wayne Slater of PLG called me within minutes. He even came to my house that very afternoon and explained everything we needed to know about RM's. I had been to the offices of two other RM providers and didn't like their products. The rates at PLG were the best.
Recently when the interest rates dropped I asked Wayne if there were any chances to re-fi my Reverse? We got it done and saved a lot of money in the process.

I had heard many things about reverse mortgages - mostly bad. But I wanted first -person facts, so I checked the web. Premier Lending Group was one of the top 3 companies listed on several sites. AAG was #1, so I called them first, and...ehh. I never felt like they were being totally honest with me. They would "match" anybody else's offer, but never give me their lowest offer in the first place. I was just another commodity to be processed. I called PLG and was very impressed with Wayne Slater's knowledge, personability, and willingness to patiently explain - several times over if needed - all the facts about reverse mortgages. He gave me their best numbers without knowing the numbers his competitors had given me - which were better than AAG's. We went with Wayne and PLG and were totally happy with the process and outcome. Everything went exactly as he said it would. The numbers were accurate and honest. We received our money very quickly! I would and do recommend Wayne Slater and Premier Lending Group as a company you can trust with your reverse mortgage. I wish all companies were as honest and easy to work with as PLG!!!

I've worked with Wayne Slater of Premier Lending Group now on applying for, not one, but two reverse mortgages. Reason being, his knowledge and professionalism in the area of reverse mortgages was so impressive during the first loan process, I had no doubt he was the right choice when it came to applying for a Jumbo Reverse Mortgage. In fact, it was him that fulfilled his promise to call me when the timing was right to proceed with the process.
I thought the first reverse mortgage was complicated. Well, I came to realize soon after beginning the process, that the Jumbo version was far more complicated, and required far more back round information than the first reverse mortgage. However, he was able to navigate all the complicated issues that made the process smooth and easy to follow. I knew exactly what information I needed to provide and to what extent I needed to provide it. I'm sure that's where his knowledge and professionalism becomes a real asset to anyone applying for a Jumbo Reverse Mortgage, especially.
Because of my complicated financial back round and history, the lender on my first reverse mortgage required a "set aside" on my taxes & home owner's insurance. I was hoping this wasn't going to be necessary with the new lender on the Jumbo version. Wayne, said he couldn't guarantee that he would be able to deliver on this request. But, he would do his best towards achieving that objective. Well, guess what, he did just that, to my amazement and my pleasure. Another reason why I have to say he will do his best to deliver on your wishes, if at all possible.
Now you know why I'm highly recommending Wayne Slater, whether you're interested in applying for a reverse mortgage standard, or jumbo, he's your man!

I cannot say enough about Greg Saffer and Premier Lending. I just got funded and almost miss working with him! His professionalism was second to none. He knows his business and the industry far more than most agents. He answered most questions on the spot and got back to me quickly on the rest. He kept my work to a minimum while he seemed to work on my loan 24/7! When I couldn't get the "teaser rate" that everyone promises, he explained why and it made total sense, because I got nowhere with the big banks. I am self-employed so they don't always like me, but he sure did and he didn't make me feel like a misfit for owning my own business. If we could give WAYNE SLATER six stars we'd gladly do so! He not only gave us an absolutely fantastic deal on our reverse mortgage (the best our reverse-mortgage counselor had seen in his 20+ years of counseling) but he went WAY, WAY beyond in getting the deal done. He worked with us all the way-- even when a major problem came up (on our side) and found a way to make it all happen WITHOUT losing the great deal he had originally offered. The only thing Wayne REFUSED to do was to act unethically in any way-- which suited us just fine! Are you getting the idea that we are absolutely delighted with Wayne Slater and recommend him as highly as we possibly can? We sure hope you are-- because Wayne is the best! If you are considering a reverse mortgage at all you would be an absolute fool not to call Wayne and let him have a chance to prove himself. Thanks Wayne, we truly appreciate it!

We started our research on a reverse mortgage more than 2 years prior to actually sitting down with Wayne to get into the details. And, when Wayne came into the picture we knew immediately that he and Premier lending was the best and only choice for us from all the others. We learned some things along the way but in the end it was Wayne that explained the transaction in a manner that allowed us to wrap our brains around the “reverse” mortgage concept.

Other lenders politely rejected our request for a home visit to discuss this big step citing the loan could “easily be done via the phone and fax”. Not for us.

Wayne was willing to travel a great distance to our home multiple times to sit down with us and answer any and all concerns we had. He kept us up to date on changes within the government loan requirements and timetables. He answered or returned all phone calls even on the week end. His instinct that we needed a little hand holding…okay, a lot!...during the process was evident in his friendly demeanor and complete knowledge of the loan process.

We found that not all lenders/brokers are equal in knowledge of the product they offer, and certainly not in their origination/broker fees. Fees being a big concern!

We would advise anyone considering the reverse mortgage to give Wayne at Premier lending a call and save time and anxiety over finding the right person to take you through this process. Once completed, you'll wonder why you waited!

We can now take a deep breath and enjoy our retirement!
